Happy Birthday!

Hello!

I love your work, it's simply gorgeous!

I just started making plushies myself, I'm merely a beginner and I wanted to ask you about something because I'm just blown away by your Ratchet plushie from 2019 and so far it's been my biggest inspiration! It's a masterpiece!

What is the fabric you used for that plush toy? It looks so fluffy!

Are his eyes embroidered or is there a different technique?

Those brown straps on his chest, are they a part of his chest or are they stitched on top of his chest?

The same with his eyebrows, are they stitched to previously finished head?

His darker fur straps, how do you merge them into the lighter fur so it looks so perfect?

That orange part of his suit, those vertical lines come from stitching straps of fabric together or is it something simpler just to look cool?

And lastly, from how many separate parts is he made of? I mean... his head was probably separate, his torso and legs look like a one piece but what about his arms, boots and ears?

I know this is a lot and if you're too busy to answer - that's totally fine! I just wanted to ask an artist who made this stunning, absolutely stunning Ratchet plushie for some tips because maybe, some day, I'll make my own! (not that perfect but maybe close enough!)

Thank you so much! Sorry for my slow reply, I hardly check my DA anymore.

The fabric is called Shannon Minky fabric and his eyes are embroidered on. I think the brown straps were also minky that had been hand stitched on the top, same with the eyebrows and darker fur strips.

The lines down the front of the shirt are just running stitches over the fabric, so nothing fancy. He was more of an art doll, so a lot of the parts were made individually and hand stitched together.

Ah! Thank you so much for your insight! :D

Hello, I'm wondering, When will commissions open again?
